Collegiate

The Collegiate Men’s Team currently has three teams in the South Australian Collegiate Soccer League. The Senior Side and Reserves play in the Division 3A/3B squad while a C Grade currently plays in the Division 6 Competition. The club usually has its major intake of players during November-December trials and pre-season training where players will be allocated accordingly. We will look to potentially add another side depending on the numbers at these trials and pre-season training.

The Collegiate Soccer League Starts in late March/early April each year and runs until mid-September. Pre-Season games will be organised from February to March. There are two competitions, the League and a knockout cup. Teams play on a Saturday with the C Grade starting at 11 am, the Reserves following at 1 pm and the Senior side finishing the day at 3 pm. Times are subject to change.

In the League, there are roughly 16-20 games a season depending on numbers, while for the Knockout Cup, it depends on how many you win!

The Collegiate Men’s Team provides a pathway for our Junior Boys’ sides to continue to play together and represent the Plympton Bulldogs. It is the Collegiate side’s goal to eventually have a team in the Football SA State League System to provide better and more opportunities for our Junior players and allow them to play at a higher level once finishing at the Junior level.
